Below is a short description of the checklist for families to preview with deadlines for when items are needing to be completed.

Incoming Bulldogs complete a new student checklist journey including time-sensitive deadlines and action items that will be available and accessible (for students-only) inside of the Navigate360 Student App.
This checklist will help you stay on track with important tasks to complete before you arrive on campus. Completing each item on time will help ensure a smooth and stress-free start to your Redlands experience.

- Schedule Appointments
- Set meetings with your professors, academic advisors, and campus offices.
- Ask for help
- Find tutors, clubs and organizations, and ask an advisor about dropping a class or changing a grade.
- Organize
- Add your class schedule, create reminders, and to-do lists, all in one convenient place.
- Review your checklist items – Each task includes details on what needs to be completed. Be sure to read the instructions carefully and follow any provided links or steps.
- Mark items as complete – Once you have finished all required steps for a checklist item, mark it as completed in Navigate360.
- Staff review & updates – A staff member will review your progress and confirm completion. If any updates or additional steps are needed, you will receive a notification.
- Move on to the Next Steps – You don’t need to wait for approval before continuing to the next checklist items—keep making progress!
- Ask for help – If you have questions or run into any issues, you can add a note to the staff in the comment box provided within each checklist item. A staff member will respond to assist you.
Access your new student checklist in Navigate 360 Student App. Use your Redlands email and password to log in. Links to forms will be available in Navigate. Only students will be able to access Navigate. Click on "Journeys" in Navigate app to view your new student checklist.

Complete the Intended Major Form: 6/01/2025
All new transfer students must meet virtually with a faculty advisor before registering for classes. To be assigned a faculty advisor, complete the Intended Major Form using your Application Status Portal login.
Complete the Housing Intention Form: 06/01/2025
All incoming students must complete the Housing Intention Form to share your living plans with Residence Life and Housing, whether you intend to live on or off campus.

Submit a Photo for your Student ID Card and indicate your consent: 08/01/2025
During your time at Redlands, you may be contacted by our writers or photographers for a story, or you may be in areas of the campus we are capturing general images of academic and student life. The Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications captures these assets for recruitment brochures, Och Tamale magazine, Bulldog Bites, Redlands.edu, and our main social media channels to promote the U of R to the general public, prospective students, alumni, and donors in print and digital formats.
Register for New Student Orientation Now! 08/01/2025
- Dates: August 29 - September 1, 2025
- Learn about campus resources.
- Attend sessions to ease your transition.
- Join activities and meet your cohort.
- RSVP info will be sent before Orientation.
Submit Final College Transcript: 08/15/2025
Your final official college transcripts must be submitted to the University of Redlands.
- To be official, transcripts must be sealed or issued and sent directly to the University of Redlands.
- Submitting them by the deadline ensures a smooth transition and completion of your student record.
Submit the Financial Responsibility Form: 08/15/2025
All new students must submit the Financial Responsibility Form to Student Financial Services. This form requires you to review and agree to key financial disclosures.
Confirm Required Immunizations: 08/15/2025
To ensure you have received all immunizations required by state law, please submit the Immunization Attestation Form.
Enroll in or Waive Student Health Insurance: 08/15/2025
Each academic year, all students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan unless they submit a waiver by the deadline. Available on 6/1/2025.
Complete Title IX & Safety Training: 08/15/2025
Complete the Required Online Safety Training starting 7/1/25 when the link becomes available. This training is required by law. Students must complete it to be eligible to start classes. This online course covers important topics such as alcohol, relationships, and sexual misconduct.
Pay Your Student Account Balance: 08/15/2025
- Student account charges will be posted in early July in Self-Service.
- Payment arrangements must be made by August 15, 2025.
- Options for repayment include paying in full or enrolling in a monthly payment plan.
- Payments received after August 15 will incur a $250 late fee.
