The University of Redlands cultivates a campus environment that is respectful of individual dignity, community inclusiveness, and service to others. In service to this commitment, we have established policies, procedures, and support mechanisms that campus community members may access when issues of concern need to be reported. The University of Redlands takes very seriously complaints and concerns regarding the institution and prohibits retaliation of any kind against individuals who make complaints in good faith.

Academic Complaints
To properly address issues and continuously improve, the University encourages students to share their concerns about educational experiences or the quality of services they receive with those in a position to help. Most concerns should be handled directly through the department, college, or school in which the issue originates. If no satisfactory resolution results, or power differences are too significant to address issues directly, concerns may be elevated to the Department Chair, then to Associate Dean, then to Dean.
Please consult the University Catalog for how to address concerns with research misconduct and grading disputes.
